Quality Assurance

Continental Tide possesses a RMMCO & NAVSEA Approval Quality System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015. Our QMS has been developed to comply with regulatory, industry and customer quality requirements and defines Continental Tide’s commitment to the quality assurance requirements of ISO 9001:2015, NAVSEA, and JFFM. Our QMS provides a framework for managing the activities that enable the company to supply services which consistently satisfy the customer and regulatory requirements and is a tool for achieving enhanced customer satisfaction.

The QMS also allows for the continual improvement of the quality management effectiveness by monitoring processes based on their significance, measuring their effectiveness against objectives and managing the selection of opportunities for improvement.

Quality Policy

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. (Continental Tide) is committed to total customer satisfaction by delivering engineering, industrial and modernization support to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and DoD organizations. All levels of the organization are dedicated to the process of meeting or exceeding customers’ requirements in a professional, safe and ethical manner. In addition, we are committed to comply with requirements and work to continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

LEVEL 1

Quality Management System Overview
Provides employees and customers with a guide to how Continental Tide executes projects and delivers products. Level 1 describes each of our processes and their supporting documentation to properly execute each step in our QMS.

LEVEL 2

Organizational Policies and Procedures
Contains the policies and procedures that employees utilize throughout their workday. Level 2 provides a detailed explanation of each policy and procedure and its importance in providing quality products and services to customers.

LEVEL 3

Functional Procedures and Work Instructions
Contains the actual forms, documents and work instructions used by employees during project execution.

Ian P. Wetzel is Continenntal Tide’s West Coast Operations Manager He oversees the execution of Continental Tide’s west coast maintenance and modernization business lines. Mr Wetzel spearheads a wide range of initiatives for Continental Tide including advanced industrial applications, training and certifications, corporate process improvement, talent acquisition, employee engagement and recruitment, building alliances and partnerships with other organizations, planning and strategy initiatives.

Mr. Wetzel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctorate from Widener Law Commonwealth. He’s currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Wetzel resides in San Diego, CA.


Edward J. Boron is Continental Tide’s Chief Financial Officer. He assists in directing Continental Tide’s corporate strategy and processes in support of business growth and profitability. Mr. Boron oversees all corporate financial operations, contracts, estimating and pricing, finance, business management and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Continental Tide, Mr. Boron worked at Delphinus Engineering as a Senior Financial Analyst where he was immersed in all levels of contracting and financial management.

Mr. Boron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Administration from Drexel University. He currently lives in Glenmoore, PA with his wife and their two daughters.

Keith M. Reidinger is the president and founder of Continental Tide Defense Systems (Continental Tide).

Mr. Reidinger is responsible for overall business operations, market strategy, contracting, business development, technical solutions and company-level engineering and industrial initiatives. Mr. Reidinger founded Continental Tide with a focus on building a company that supports clients with personalized service around the globe.  Continental Tide’s strong culture and outstanding quality are two elements that Clients count on and are a testament to the great contributions made by Continental Tide employees every day.

Prior to founding Continental Tide, Mr. Reidinger was a Program Manager for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division and Delphinus Engineering. Mr. Reidinger has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. He resides in Reading, PA with his wife and their three children.
